Consignment
Do we consign?
Yes we do. We will consign just about everything with a few exceptions (see below). If you don’t see an item in our store inventory that doesn’t mean we will not consign it. We will sell most items in new, like new, good, and sometimes fair condition if the item is a collectible (all conditions considered for vintage items).
What’s your split for consignment?
For small items (and decor), we split 60% to the store / 40% to the consignor.
For large items (like furniture), we split 50% to the store / 50% to the Consignor.
What kind of items will we consign?
We will sell almost everything that is in sell-able condition. Contact us with questions. Alternatively, send us a photo or two of your item.
Are there any items that we will not take?
Unfortunately, we will not be able to accept:
- Clothing of any type
- All baby items
- Things with a tobacco or smokey smell
What is the difference between selling through consignment and becoming a vendor?
When you enter into a consignment agreement you are enlisting Barb’s Treasures to carry the cost of storing/shelving, pricing, advertising, marketing, promoting, and managing the sale with buyer. If you are a vendor here then you are essentially renting a booth to display your products and the vendor manages pricing, promotion, shelving, and cleaning/dusting their booth.

What kind of vendors to we accept?
We rent booths to many types of local entrepreneurs that need exposure to sell their inventory. If you would like your products to be in front of our audience, then contact us for more information.
What’s your split for vendor?
We split 10% to the store / 90% to the consignor.
What is the difference between becoming a vendor and selling via consignment?
